Police Apologize for Misidentifying Fatal Crash Victim

New Hampshire State Police have issued a release to correct the spelling of one of the names of the individuals killed in Seabrook during an early Saturday morning crash.

Colin Ross, 23, of Hampton Falls, was killed in the crash. Police originally misidentified him as "Colon" Ross.

Police previously said Ross was driving a 2002 Honda Accord on Causeway Street at about 4:39 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a parked car, then a utility pole.

Police said "unreasonable speed" and alcohol likely contributed to the crash, which also claimed the life of Stacy Walsh, 23, of West Newbury, Mass. Ross and Walsh were pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact State Police Trooper Anthony Cattabriga at (603) 223-8490 or Anthony.Cattabriga@dos.nh.gov.
