Domino's Armed Robber Sentenced to 4 to 12 Years

A local man has been sentenced to 4 to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to a crime spree that included armed robberies of the Hampton Domino's and two women in Portsmouth, according to the Union Leader.

David Wilson, 28, of Hampton, pleaded guilty to three counts of robbery last week in Rockingham County Superior Court, helping him avoid trial and what the Union Leader reported could've been a lengthier sentence.

Wilson was connected by DNA evidence to the once-unsolved Jan. 31, 2012, pizzeria stickup. Wilson pointed a gun at a Domino's Pizza employee while robbing the Lafayette Road business, and the crime had gone unsolved until DNA found on a sweatshirt ditched by the Domino's suspect matched DNA obtained from a bandana Wilson wore during one of the Portsmouth armed robberies.

Wilson, indicted on the charges in May, allegedly used the same Glock-style pellet gun in all three incidents, which is another one of the ways police connected the three incidents.
