The North Hampton Select Board has made a sizable change to the annual deliberative session portion of the town meeting process in the hopes that it will better serve local residents and voters.
Selectmen have moved the location of the deliberative session from Town Hall to North Hampton School. The format of the session and the start time for the session — 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1 — remain unchanged.
"The thought is that any increase in attendance because of the [municipal complex] article can be better accommodated at [North Hampton School]," said Town Administrator Paul Apple.
