Teens Pleading Guilty to N. Hampton Burglary

Two of the four teens who twice tried to burglarized the same home for drugs will soon admit to the crimes in court.

Guilty pleas will come in Rockingham Superior Court later this month from two individuals indicted in connection to a two different drug-related break-ins at the same North Hampton residence

The Hampton Union has reported that Alfonso Medina, 19, and Jordan Welch, 18, are scheduled to plead guilty at some point this month as part of a negotiated plea deals for their actions in Dec. 11 and Dec. 20 break-ins at 14 Slate Run Road.

Welch, who has been indicted on two counts of being an accomplice to burglary, is expected to receive a 12-month suspended jail sentence by pleading guilty to a misdemeanor criminal trespass charge, according to the Hampton Union. Terms of the deal for Medina, who has been indicted on two counts of receiving stolen property, weren't released, according to the Hampton Union.

Police have said Welch, Medina and two other teens — Scott Andrews, 18, and Gordon Serpis, 18 — broke into the home to find drugs, but instead stole an Xbox 360, several Xbox games and a Dell laptop.

The Hampton Union has reported Andrews and Serpis have already pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges as part of negotiated plea deals. Andrews, of Hampton, reportedly pleaded guilty last month to criminal trespassing and received a suspended 12-month jail sentence, while Serpis reportedly pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of conspiracy to receive stolen property and received a suspended six-month jail sentence.
