Seabrook Man Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Crash

The accident occurred Monday in Rochester.

A Seabrook man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on monday.

Around 11:46 a.m. Monday, Rocheter Police, Rochester Fire and Frisbie Hospital AMS responded to Rochester Hill Road in the area of Skyhaven Airport in Rochester for a report of a motorcycle accident.

According to Rochester Police, a 2009 Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycle driven by Christopher D. Philbrick, 23, of Seabrook,with passenger, Alisha Hills, 19, of Seabrook was traveling northbound on Rochester Hill Road when the motorcycle went off the paved portion of the roadway into the dirt and the vehicle went down. 

Both Philbrick and Hills were wearing helmets. Philbrick sustained serious injuries and was taken by medical helicopter to Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. Hills was not injured.

The roadway remained opened and no other vehicles were involved. Anyone that may have witnessed the accident is urged to call 603-330-7128. The accident remains under investigation.
