Hampton Police Arrest 3 Sex Offenders After Targeted Checks
Robert Picucci Jr., Terrence Hartley and Timothy Gagne were all found in violation of various laws.
Three local sex offenders were recently arrested for violating registration requirements following a round of compliance checks by the Hampton Police Department and the New Hampshire U.S. Marshals Office.
The agencies checked on all of Hampton's 27 sex offenders, and found that the following individuals didn't comply with the following sex offender conditions:
- Robert Picucci Jr., 48, of 2 Fielding Lane, was charged with failing to register online identifiers.
- Terrence Hartley, 47, formerly of Nautical Motel, was charged with duty to inform of a change of address. Police said Hartley currently resides in Massachusetts.
- Timothy Gagne, 45, of 451 Winnacunnet Road, Apt. 203, was charged with failing to register a vehicle.
Gidley said Hartley is currently under investigation by U.S. Marshals because he may be in violation of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act after moving out of state without reporting the change of address.
The Hampton Police Department has a detective who oversees sex offender registration, according to Gidley. He said anyone wishing to report a violation is asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Division of the Hampton Police Department.
