Jazz-Classical Connection

Music Makers Director, flutist Trisha Craig, is about to celebrate the 40th anniversary of her first moment of playing the flute - and what better way to commemorate than with a live concert!

Just to make the event as FUN as possible, all of the music to be performed was written for classical flute with a connection to jazz. (Ooo, how intriguing!)

Featuring: Trisha Craig, flute; Katherine Harris Rick, piano; Jim Butka, piano; AJ Pappas, bass; Derek Hayden, drums; Brian Bergeron, guitar.  Performing works by Milhaud, Piazzolla, Mower, and Claude Bolling! (Yes, the Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano!)

This event will be FAMILY FRIENDLY and will be a pay-what-you-think-it-was-worth special: hear the performance, then pay whatever you think it was worth when you leave.

Oh, and the concert is on TRISHA'S BIRTHDAY, so we'll even have cake. . .
