Coffee Shop Getting Facelift, New Owners

A new name — but an old face — is coming to a local favorite.

Coffee and donut fanatics will soon see some big changes at a popular local java house thanks to two new owners focused on brewing a fresh start for part of the business.

The Jumpin' Jack's Java on Route 1 in Hampton will soon be rebranded as Jumpin' Jill's Java in addition to numerous renovations after Hampton Beach location owners Nick and Michelle Birmbas have recaptured their company's original location, according to Jumpin' Jack's Java's Facebook page.

The company is calling it a "marriage" between Jack and Jill, and will debut the newly-rebranded, double-drive-thru Route 1 location on June 6, according to its Facebook page. The Birmbas will officially resume ownership of the location, opened in 2005, on June 1.
