Don't Put Those Shovels Away Just Yet — More Snow Coming

An annual holiday lights event, a big dedication and a local school's social media debut are also among things you should know today.

Don't worry if you're trying to find a way to shed a couple of those extra holiday pounds, as Mother Nature is giving you another chance to burn them off using your shoveling muscles.

More snow is on the way Tuesday just a couple of days after the first snowstorm of the season blanketed the Seacoast areaThe National Weather Service predicts the new storm will dump a "plowable" amount of snow Tuesday night into early Wednesday.


Other important things you should know today:    

  • The new addition and the renovation to the Winnacunnet Road fire station will be dedicated at 4 p.m. Tuesday. The public will be able to take tours of the structure until 6 p.m.
  • Winnacunnet High School has officially been on Twitter for one week, and the school has been very busy.
  • The Hampton Parks and Recreation Department's annual Holiday Tour of Lights is Tuesday and Wednesday. Click here for details.
