It's hard to "feel blue" when amazing blue images like this blow your mind.
It should come to no surprise to any of you that the absolutely stunning image above comes courtesy of Christine Singleton, master of the monochromatic beach scene. A North Hampton instructor has won a coveted performance prize with her ensemble, The Russian Trio.
Information courtesy of Music Makers Music Makers piano instructor Katherine Harris Rick and her ensemble, The Russian Trio, have been awarded the Coleman Chamber Music Competition’s Coleman-Barstow Prize for Strings after their performance in the annual event, which was held in Los Angeles on April 27. The prize included $4,000 and inclusion in the formal winners’ concert in Caltech’s Ramo Auditorium the following day.

It may not have the panache of a "Where's Waldo?" photo, but it's still fun to find the summer season indicator in this image.
Every day, our "Five Things You Need to Know Today" gives you the forecast, mainly to let know whether it's a good day for heading down to the beach or doing outside.
