Patch Editors Volunteer at Goodwill for Give 5 Day

Local editors and staff gave back to the community on Wednesday.

New Hampshire Patch editors on Wednesday volunteered at the Portsmouth Goodwill store.

All Patch employees participate in the company's "Give 5" program, where they volunteer in their communities five days a year.

At Goodwill Wednesday, Regional Editor Marc Fortier, Community Editor Bob Cook, and Local Editors Jason Claffey and Kyle Stucker helped sort clothes and clean shelves.

The store in December opened at its new Lafayette Road location, which features a drive-through donation area.

Patch editors across the state also volunteered this week. Nashua Patch Local Editor Carol Robidoux helped out at a soup kitchen.
