Help Clean the Library Grounds This Weekend

A new pathway will be constructed during the annual event.

The Hampton Democrats are sponsoring their fourth annual Hampton Spring Clean-up on Sunday, April 15, from noon to 3 p.m.  

Anyone interested in helping rake the grounds, lay some mulch and help construct a new pathway in front of the parking area along Academy Avenue is invited to stop by and help.

Please bring your own gloves, rakes, shovels and –if you have one-a wheelbarrow.

“The Lane Memorial Library is arguably one of the prettiest buildings that we have in Hampton” said Chris Muns, chairman of the Hampton Democrats. “Getting out and doing our part to showcase the building is not only our way of giving back to the community but it's also a lot of fun and we hope that volunteers of all ages — and political persuasions — will join us."
