Snow Results in School Closings, Delays

Seacoast schools had mostly delays, while some schools to the west cancelled classes altogether.

The March snowstorm led many schools in Southern New Hampshire to delay or cancel school on Thursday.

On the Seacoast, most schools, including Portsmouth, Hampton and Exeter, had only a 2-hour delay. The University of New Hampshire had a delay of its own, curtailing operations until 11 a.m.

A bit to the west, however, schools like Salem, Windham, Nashua, Derry and Londonderry cancelled classes altogether. Other districts like Amherst, Bedford, Milford and Merrimack had classes as usual.
