Marston Students Plant Tree for Arbor Day
Today's Photo of the Day is of a recent "green" initiative lesson.
Unitil Energy made a to Hampton's on Monday to teach about 150 third graders about trees and the importance of Arbor Day.
Unitil System Arborist Sara Sankowich's lesson — which focused around the various things trees provide, such as medicine, paper, shade and "fun jobs," according to Unitil — concluded with the students helping Sankowich plant an American elm tree on school grounds, as shown in the attached images submitted by Unitil.
