'Soiled Diaper' Fetish Gets Man 14 Months in Prison

A man who has already spent 220 days in county jail will serve another 14 months after pleading guilty in Rockingham Superior Court on Tuesday to one felony count of attempted indecent exposure and lewdness, according to the Union Leader.

Eric Carrier, 25, of Hooksett, could've faced 3 1/2 to seven years in state prison had he gone to trial on the charge, a charge that stems from an incident in September in which Carrier pretended to have a brain injury to get a female Hampton caregiver to change his soiled diaper as part of a sexual fetish.

The Union Leader has reported that Carrier also received a suspended two- to four-year prison sentence, which the paper said would kick in if Carrier doesn't remain on good behavior and doesn't complete mandated sex offender treatment. The Union Leader has also reported that Carrier initiated his rouse by claiming to the caregiver that he had a 22-year-old son with a brain injury before showing up to the caregiver's home and pretending to be that son.

County Attorney Jim Reams and Assistant County Attorney Michael Zaino, the prosecutor on the case, both couldn't be reached for comment Tuesday.
