Police Connect Pair to More Local Burglaries

A Seabrook man and Hampton woman linked to crimes in Seabrook, Exeter and Kensington will also soon be charged in Hampton Falls.

A local man and woman linked to crimes in Seabrook, Exeter and Kensington will also soon be charged in Hampton Falls, according to police.

Hampton Falls Police Lt. Tom Boynton said the suspects they sought last month for multiple burglaries are the same individuals identified by other departments Wednesday.

Terry Deschenes, 23, of Seabrook, was arraigned Wednesday on three felony counts of conspiracy to commit burglary in connection to incidents in Kensington. He is being held on $25,000 cash bail.

Exeter and Seabrook police helped connect Deschenes and Shannon M. Reed, 24, to the Kensington incidents as well as recover some of the stolen items. Exeter police have said they plan to file charges against both Deschenes and Reed, the latter of whom is a Hampton resident, according to Boynton.

Hampton Falls police had sought a white four-door hatchback with red and white temporary paper license plates in connection to multiple November burglaries. Boynton said Hampton Falls arrest warrants will soon be issued for Deschenes and Reed for those alleged crimes.

Boynton said he wanted to thank the public for assisting in the investigation.

"Resolution to these cases would not have been possible without the help of the public and good neighbors coming forward to give information to their respective police departments," said Boynton. "To everyone that called in tips or provided statements, we would like to say, 'Thank you.'"

Deschenes and Reed were also arrested in Maine last week in connection to burglaries in Kennebunk. The Union Leader has reported that Reed will be arraigned on those charges before facing charges in New Hampshire.
