Millie's Tavern Burglars Arrested Outside Centre School

Hampton police apprehended two individuals outside a local school Monday afternoon in connection to a burglary at a Hampton Beach bar and other crimes.

Jennifer Pelletier, of 17 M St., was charged with burglary and theft from a vehicle at about 2:30 p.m. Monday outside Centre School on Winnacunnet Road.

Lt. Dan Gidley said Pelletier was accompanied at the time of her arrest by Shane McCarthy, who was taken into custody on multiple warrants, including a Hampton one for a simple assault and a Seabrook one for burglary and violation of parole.

Gidley said McCarthy was also charged with a second count of burglary because he allegedly was an accomplice to Pelletier when Pelletier allegedly burglarized Millie's Tavern on L Street on Jan. 10.

Pelletier allegedly broke into multiple vehicles to steal items before the burglary, according to Gidley.
