Man with 'Soiled Diaper' Fetish Could Face Child Porn Charges

Child porn offenses could be pursued against a man who avoided trial after trying to trick Hampton caregivers into changing his dirty diaper.

A man who has pleaded guilty to faking a brain injury to trick caregivers into changing his soiled diaper may soon have a new set of charges issued against him, as Hampton police claim they have found "child erotica" on the man's laptop, according to the Union Leader.

Eric Carrier, 25, of Hooksett, had received a suspended sentence after pleading guilty in April on one felony count of attempted indecent exposure and lewdness, and had served 220 days in jail for crimes he committed to satisfy what police have called a "fetish."

The Union Leader has reported, though, that Carrier was recently free on probation, but spent five days in the Merrimack County House of Corrections for violating it. The paper has also reported that prosecutors have asked a judge for permission to seize Carrier's laptop, and that a judge will rule on the request during a hearing on Aug. 12.
