'Hometown Hottie' Model Indicted on Heroin Sales Charges

Persephanie Lesperance of Portsmouth is facing three drug-related charges.

Persephanie Lesperance, a model from Portsmouth who appeared in Maxim, was indicted this month on three drug-related charges.

Lesperance, 24, of 220 Raleigh Way, was indicted by a Rockingham County Superior Court grand jury on one count of possession of crack cocaine, one count of conspiracy to sell heroin and one count of heroin sales. According to the indictments, she sold heroin to another individual and to an undercover police officer on Aug. 21, 2013. She was found with crack cocaine in her possession on Nov. 11, 2013.

A runner-up in Maxim's 2013 "Hometown Hottie" competition, Lesperance was one of eight people arrested in a Seacoast drug sweep last summer.

Her hometown is Hampton, according to an interview she did with New Hampshire Magazine. She told the magazine she was just getting started in modeling and in her spare time did charity work, including collecting dresses, shoes and accessories for young girls whose families were affected by Hurricane Sandy.
