Hampton Sex Offender Arrested for Failure to Register

The following information was provided by the Hampton Police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Hampton Police log from Monday, Sept. 30 to Tuesday, Oct. 1.

Monday:

  • At 12:09 a.m., police arrested Matthew Hart, 23, of Berwick, Maine on a warrant at the state Park and Ride lot on Timber Swamp Road.
  • At 8:31 a.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident on High Street and Marston Way.
  • At 9:17 a.m., police investigated a safe school violation at Hampton Academy.
  • At 12:44 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle accident at the Hannaford Supermarket on Lafayette Road.
  • At 1:48 p.m., police reported a hit and run accident at Ron's Landing on Ocean Boulevard.
  • At 8:02 p.m., police investigated a public indecency complaint at the Hannaford Supermarket on Lafayette Road.
Tuesday:
  • At 9:39 a.m., police arrested Charles Lunt, 37, of Portsmouth at Foss Manufacturing on Lafayette Road on a warrant.
  • At 12:15 p.m. and 12:18 p.m., police investigated two criminal trespass complaints at the Hampton Lane Memorial Library and at My First School on Winnacunnet Road.
  • At 12:53 p.m., police arrested Kevin J. Coulter, 55, on Mill Road for failure to register as a sex offender.
  • At 1:49 p.m., police reported a theft on River Avenue.
  • At 3:25 p.m., police arrested Amber L. Barry, 25, of Dover for driving after revocation or suspension and operating after suspension on Lafayette Road.
