Diaper Fetishist Won't Appear in Court Thursday

Eric Carrier was due in court for violating his probation by trying to con three individuals for sexual fulfillment.

A man in the police spotlight once again for trying to con caregivers won't answer to his probation violation in Rockingham Superior Court Thursday, as court staff say the man's hearing has been continued to an unspecified future date.

Eric Carrier, 25, of Hooksett, recently pretended to have a brain injury in an attempt to trick three new caregivers into changing his soiled diaper.

The offense is a probation violation for Carrier because he pleaded guilty in April to similar charges stemming from a September 2012 incident in Hampton in order to avoid trial and a possible punishment of 3 1/2 to seven years in state prison.

Carrier was released on a suspended two-to-four-year sentence for the crime, which authorities have said stems from Carrier trying to fulfill a sexual fetish.

The new charges stem from the fact that Carrier allegedly pretended on Aug. 15 to have a mental impairment when he went to the home of a New Boston child provider he found through an advertisement on Craigslist, which is similar to the Hampton incident and incidents in Hooksett.

The Union Leader has reported that police believe Carrier had similar intentions on July 28 when he allegedly called Personal Touch Home Care in Auburn and placed three calls that day to Always There Senior Care in Manchester.

Carrier could also face child pornography charges, as Hampton police have claimed they found "child erotica" on the man's laptop.
