2 Barricaded in Hampton Falls Home; SWAT Team on Scene
Route 1 remains closed from Route 84 to the Seabrook town line.

ORIGINAL STORY (5:30 p.m.): Two people remain barricaded in a home on Route 1 in Hampton Falls, and a SWAT team has been called in to assist in taking them into custody.
New Hampshire State Police sent out a press release minutes ago saying that Route 1 remains closed at Route 84 and the Seabrook town line as they attempt to resolve the situation.

Around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, state police said they responded to 24 Lafayette Road (Route 1) to assist Amesbury, Mass. Police regarding an ongoing investigation.
Police encountered two people who were wanted for questioning in the investigation, but they fled from police and barricaded themselves inside the home. As of 3:30 p.m., they remained barricaded in the home, and attempts by police to take them into custody have been unsuccessful.
The state police SWAT Unit has been called in to assist in taking the two individuals into custody.
