Beloved Tobey and Merrill Employee Succumbs to Illness

Robin McIlveen, 50, was a devoted wife and mother, and had an "infectious laughter" and a "passion" for gardening.

Robin Lee (Walton) McIlveen, 50, of Hampton Falls, died Friday, October 25, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness.

She was born August 9, 1963 in Exeter a daughter of Donna (Giardini) Walton of Hampton and the late Frank Walton, Jr.

Raised in Hampton, Robin graduated from Winnacunnet High School with the Class of 1981 and most recently was employed by Tobey & Merrill Insurance Company in Hampton for six years.

She had many wonderful friends, loved doing things with her family and her passion was her garden. She will be remembered for the love of her family, her infectious laughter and the love of being outdoors. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and daughter who will be deeply missed.

In addition to her mother, family members include her husband, Robert G. McIlveen, Jr., her daughters, Jenna and Laura McIlveen all of Hampton Falls, her sister, Melinda Stanley and her husband James of Epping, her brothers, Frank Walton, III of Hampton, Michael Walton of Newmarket, three sisters in law, Linda Parker, Sharon Jones and Diana Durso, several aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 6-9 P.M. Monday, October 28, 2013 at Unity on the River, 58 Macy Street, Amesbury, Mass. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 also at Unity on the River in Amesbury followed by a time of fellowship with refreshments. The family suggests donations to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168. Assistance with the arrangements was by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, Hampton.
