A Hampton family is attempting to rally help for a woman who just lost her husband before the birth of their second child and Christmas.
A memorial fund has been established in honor of Fernando Valerio, 29, of Hampton, who recently passed away, according to father-in-law Tom Miller.
Miller said Valerio's death came three days before his daughter — Valerio's wife — gave birth to their second child. The death has "left her family without financial support," according to Miller.
Contributions to the memorial fund can be made at any Seacoast-area Citizens Bank.
