Snow Turns Hampton Tour of Lights Into 1-Day Event

The second day of the annual holiday lighted homes tour will be held Wednesday, barring complications from continued inclement weather.

Several events and activities were canceled or postponed Tuesday due to another significant snowfall and slippery driving conditions.

The Hampton Parks and Recreation Department canceled the first night of the annual Holiday Tour of Lights event.

"Both the 6pm and 7:15pm tour are cancelled," according to a post by the department. "Unfortunately, we are unable to reschedule. If you would like to know some of the hot spots for lights in Town please call Hampton Rec. 926-3932 for a general list. Thanks for understanding!"

Wednesday's tour will still be held.

Also, North Hampton Public Library bumped its "Polar Express" Party from Tuesday to Wednesday due to the snow. The event, information for which is available here, will be held at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Hampton-North Hampton Patch will keep you up to date with the cancellations as they come in. If you hear of any, please post them in the comments below (or e-mail them to Kyle.Stucker@Patch.com) so we can add them to this story.
