Kay's Kafe Opens at Galley Hatch

Downtown Hampton just got a new coffee shop.

There is finally a coffeehouse in Hampton and it’s Kay’s Kafe at the !

Serving hot breakfast sandwiches that melt in your mouth, bagels, muffins, scones, and other breakfast pastries, and wide selection of tea, coffee and espresso drinks served hot, cold and even flavored, the self-serve café is open weekdays at 6:30 a.m. and weekends at 8 a.m.

The Galley Hatch Bakery has been converted into a relaxing café, complete with Wi-Fi, TV, leather chairs to kick back in, cozy tables to meet up with friends, a coffee bar for a quick bite, and seasonal outdoor patio seating.

Named after the original Galley Hatch owner Kay Tinios, Kay’s love of people and ability to create a warm, friendly atmosphere for socializing is what Kay’s Kafe is all about.

Kay recently cut the ribbon celebrating the official opening of Kay’s Kafe, surrounded by family, friends, local business owners, and representatives of the Hampton Area Chamber.
