Congratulations Mr Wise Guy!!

Mr Wise Guy of Wings & Hooves Therapeutic Riding, Inc., founded and directed by Karen Cuneo in East Kingston, NH, has received the prestigious awards of PATH, Intl 2013 Region 1 Equine of the Year and the PATH, Intl 2013 International Equine of the Year!  The Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH, Intl) sets safety standards and quality guidelines for the industry and is made up of 11 regions across the world.

A 25 year young Arabian gelding, Mr Wise Guy was a multiple National Champion in the United States and Canada during a fifteen year career in an arduous sport before retiring to his second career as a trusted therapy mount. He is a member of an amazing team of horses who work their magic both in and out of the arena to change the lives of children and adults with special needs and life-altering challenges.

Mr Wise Guy sustained an injury early in his life which left him with paralysis in the lower right hand side of his face. Because of this, his tongue occasionally hangs out of his mouth like a happy puppy dog. Children and adults are naturally curious about his unique appearance, but when they learn that he is in no pain and he went on to win multiple world championships, he becomes an inspiration.  In the hearts of the students, volunteers, staff and families, Mr Wise Guy is simply the BEST!
