I have been recycling since the 70s...and 2/3 of my trash is now recyclable, esp. because I makeRead Morecho ices when buying products to help reduce waste. You'd be surprised what going veg does for your trash! I don't understand why it isn't an ingrained part of the culture by now, but apparently it isn't. If a group of volunteers think they can make an impact to our waste stream, then let them at least try.

She sunsetted the Recycling Committee so my thoughts are censored Robert! No reason, she just saidRead Morew e've been here too long! What does that mean? We do not cost the town a dime, we are a volunteer group trying to help educate people on recycling! So I won't comment because it would be bad!

Mrs and Mr Kilgore. You are alleging the architects, planners, and engineers of Plan NH whoRead Moreconduct ed the June 14 & 15 charrette did so with some preconceived, premeditated agenda bias to one plan. There is no evidence for this allegation. The Plan NH professionals had access to a number of prior plans – and nearly every other study and document accumulated over 13 years of study -- but didn’t use the prior plans as they set out to look at our facilities. Plan NH made it quite clear on Saturday morning, June 15 that they went into the design phase of their charrette with an open mind and were responsive to the comments and suggestions from the floor. If you are unconvinced of that fact then I suggest you contact Plan NH and make your accusations known to them. The Board never met outside of a public meeting between the time we committed to the charrette and June 14 /15 to consider any proposals and since June 14/15 the Board has consistently invited public input on this proposed plan. The Board never adopted a draft plan from any firm between WarrenStreet in 2011 and hiring Lavallee Brensinger. Over 150 people have worked on the design of the proposed campus. All of the experts: the architect, the construction manager, the volunteer professionals who served on the charrette – many times before, during and after the charrette – concluded that the public safety center should be on the corner of Alden and Atlantic for public safety reasons and, more importantly, to save the cost of having to relocate the departments during any renovations. These conclusions have been reached by so many professionals that the argument for it is compelling. Jim Maggiore North Hampton

As a North Hampton resident trying to gain information on the vote for March 7th on Article 7,Read Morewhere is the information about costs/logistics/planning of creating a town campus? Where is the information on if we as a town denied Article 7? I also have problem with the actions and language used in response to Wally Kilgore. As elected officials it is generally frowned upon to alienate contingents who oppose you. All 3 selectmen have done the exact same thing. Instead of alienating Mr. Kilgore, why don't you try to persuade him into why Article 7 is vital to the well-being of our lovely town? All three selectmen use the argument, "Mr. Kilgore doesn't want this in his front yard." l would like to point out some of these selectmen are taking initiative to shut down the Hampton Gun Club. Why? What has this long established orginization have to be moved? The answer is simple, the noise bothers these selectmen who are conveniently located near the gun range.

Mr. Kilgore. The design of the campus can be found on the Town's website, www.northhampton-nh.gov, Read Moreand listed on the front page as "Proposed Town Campus". From the same front page you can watch the presentation of the Town Campus from the February Deliberative Session. Simply click on "Town Hall Streams Video Online" then "February", then "Town Deliberative Session". The presentation begins at the 41:17 mark. If you contact me by email (mjmaggiore@comcast.net) or phone (556-0073) I will make sure to send you information. All the best. Jim Maggiore

"The only reason the town should be involved in the TV station at all is for administrativeRead Morepu rposes. The town receives and holds the taxes paid to Comcast by the ratepayers. The town disburses those funds to pay for equipment and the TV Station Manager’s salary. Deciding what should be broadcast is not an administrative function.
