Your 15-Minute Destination [VIDEO]

Head over to Water Country in Portsmouth as part of Sunday's Patch Passport entry.

It's time to venture out, fellow Patchers, to a popular destination about a 15-minute drive, depending on traffic, from Hampton and North Hampton: Water Country in Portsmouth.

The park opened in 1984, and has quickly become one of the most visited attractions on the Seacoast thanks to Geronimo and other popular water slides, a massive wave pool, Aventure River, and other rides.

Prices for anyone over 48 inches is $37.99 per day, so it might be a good idea to buy a $60 season pass, which allows unlimited visits, if you plan on making this trek multiple times this summer.

Visit Water Country's website for more information about rides and pricing.

Check out the park, and feel free to share your photos with us by posting them to this article as well as e-mailing them to the editor at Kyle.Stucker@Patch.com

Also be sure to check out the other destinations you could visit by venturing out of town, as well as the other Patch Passport entries this week.
