Chowdah Challenge Returning Soon for 6th Year at the Beach

Get your seafood-packed soups ready for another night of hearty food and charity.

Professional Firefighters of Hampton Local 2664 present the 6th annual Chowdah Challenge to benefit the International Association of Firefighters Burn Foundation, a non-profit source for burn research grants and the sponsor of the IAFF Children’s Burn Camp.

Enter a Chowdah or just come to enjoy food.

WHEN: Thursday, May 31st, 2012

WHERE: McGuirk’s Ocean View Restaurant, 95 Ocean Blvd., Hampton NH

TIME: Doors open at 6 p.m., judging (1st, 2nd, 3rd place and People’s Choice award) completed by 7 p.m., raffle prizes called at 8 p.m. 

COST: $5.00 at the door


Highlights will include: 50/50 Raffle, prizes, and live entertainment! Put an end to the cold spring season at McGuirk’s with hot chowdah and good times!

All non-restaurant entries will receive a free gift certificate to McGuirk’s as our way of saying thanks.

Register your chowder entry by faxing the attached form to 926-1553 or by e-mailing it to Jaynewman_2000@yahoo.com.

All entries must be in by May 28. HAVE ENTRIES IN BY MAY 28th, 2012. Chowders must arrive between 5 and 5:30 p.m. on May 31!
