I am running for the at-large seat on the Winnacunnet Budget Committee to help improve the education of our children, and our community as a whole.
Education is one of the most important things we can focus on and to do it in today’s economy, you must balance education with economics. Finding the right balance is not always easy, yet I believe that my experience as a WHS and Hampton School Board member for 15 years combined has given me a unique view as to what is truly important for our children’s education.
During my time as School Board member, I also served on the WHS Budget committee. I understand how the process works, and will speak up for what is best for our children AND the community we all live in.
My professional experience includes 28 years with a Fortune 500 company where I have been involved in budgeting every year. As a resident of the WHS community, I have a tremendous amount of pride and respect for Winnacunnet High School and feel that I can make a positive impact on our children’s education while watching every dollar spent.
Additionally I can use my leadership and teamwork skills to further improve the budget committee’s performance.
I would appreciate your vote on March 13 as I would be proud to serve as WHS Budget Committee member.
