Romney Continues to Impress NH Residents [VIDEO]

Those attending Tuesday's Hampton visit said the GOP front-runner has some strong ideas, which he now must stick to.

Many of the residents who attended Tuesday's luncheon with Mitt Romney in Hampton said they came away impressed with the former Massachusetts governor's background and plans for the economy.

Residents said there are some hurdles ahead for Romney, though, if he wants to continue to be the frontrunner for the GOP nomination. Editor's note: Romney had a commanding lead among New Hampshire voters, according to the most recent WMUR Grate State Poll.

More importantly, residents said there are some things he has to overcome if he wants to be elected and be successful in his plans, including perceptions about his religious background and staying true to his word.

Most people said Romney also needs to continue to hold small gatherings to find out what the American people really want out of their candidates.

Some said they hoped he'll also continue to run his campaign in a way that avoids the fanfare, hype and controversy that r generated.
