Plea Deal May Come in 'Soiled Diaper' Case

The man is accused of acting disabled in order to fool a local caregiver into changing his soiled diaper as part of a sexual fetish.

A man arrested for pretending to be unable to control his bowel movements in order to fool an in-home caregiver into changing his dirty diaper may receive a plea deal before his case reaches Rockingham Superior Court, according to the Union Leader.

Eric Carrier, 24, was arrested last month by the Hampton Police Department on one count of felony indecent exposure and lewdness after he tried to use Craigslist to trick a local in-home caregiver into thinking he had a brain injury and needed his diapers changed regularly.

The Union Leader reported, though, that court documents indicate a plea deal may be in the works for the man — whom police believe was attempting to satisfy a sexual fetish — and that the plea deal may resolve several similar cases against him.

Carrier was charged in 2011 with soliciting five other women for the same purpose, and was convicted of indecent exposure in one of those cases on July 30, according to the Union Leader. Carrier was charged after this year's Hampton arrest with one felony, but the Union Leader has reported that court documents indicate there are two victims — a 30-year-old Nashua woman and a 28-year-old Hampton woman — and that Carrier has been ordered not to have contact with either of them.

Carrier's Class B felony charge is punishable by up to 3 1/2 to 7 years in state prison.
