Myla Gott, 21, has begun her long-awaited hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatments after a successful fundraising campaign for the North Hampton woman's recovery from a traumatic brain injury.

The above images of the Randolph, Mass., treatments were posted by her father, Bill Gott, on the "Support for Myla" Facebook page. Click here to learn more about the specialized treatments, which could help her gain more brain plasticity and help Myla increase her overall level of function.

Bill Gott said the HBOT treatments so far have been making some "slow gains" on his daughter's recovery.

Congratulations to Myla, and be sure to leave words of encouragement in the comments below as well as on the "Support for Myla" Facebook page.
