Getting to Know: Seacoast Soap Company

The handmade gift shop is this week's featured business.

Welcome to "Getting to Know," a user-driven video column that runs each Friday to get inside the heads of popular, new or quirky small businesses and their owners and staff.

This week's featured business is the , a downtown Hampton gift store that makes its natural bath and beauty products, including soap that looks like cupcakes.

The Seacoast Soap Company moved from Rye to Hampton in February, bringing owner John Davey's emphasis on handmade and hand-cut soap creations to the corner of High Street and Lafayette Road. In addition to dozens of soaps and bath accouterment for men and women, Davey also sells locally made artisan jewelry, purses and other items.
