Exeter Area Garden Club Grants Available

Ready for a real spring stimulus? Visualize, plan and produce a stunning spot in Exeter, Stratham or a nearby community. Last year's endeavor was so successful that Eexeter Area Garden Club is again offering grants from $50 to $200 toward funding projects to beautify and enhance public viewing areas.

Mini-Grants will be awarded to organizations, community and civic groups, schools, businesses and individuals. Funds may be applied toward trees, shrubs, flowers, seeds, bulbs, mulching materials, etc. This offer is made in conjunction with a club objective:

To encourage interest in all phases of home gardening and to promote civic beauty and the conservation of natural resources.

For detailed information and for an application, visit www.ExeterAreaGardenClub.org under Beautification Grants or call Environment and Conservation chairwoman, Betsy, at 734-2586. All applications must be received by April 1, 2012. Grant recipients will be notified by May 1 with funds disbursed at that time.
